December 18, 2008

My goodness, it's been too long since I have had a chance to write in my diary.

Monkeys have been coming and going so fast here at the ranch that my head's in a spin...to say nothing of the Christmas madness!

First, we had a trio of ballerinas stop by the ranch for a rest after a whirlwind tour. They decided to take a break from dancing and make new friends...all three have found new homes
Tina
Rose
Misty
Then there was Max. He showed up at the ranch with a chip on his shoulder and left with it still intact. I have to tell you...though we tried to like him...no one cried when he left.
A couple of weeks ago Lucky caught three hunters out in the back 40. They were huntin' white-tail, but not havin' much luck. We shipped them off to Pennsylvania to train with some real hunters. I'm sure they love it there.
Then it got so busy with monkeys coming and going that it was hard to keep track of them. There was...
Haley
Daisy
Sam
Sarge
Dinoboy
Jack (Train Conductor)
And right now we have three guests for the holidays, but they are looking for homes, too...
Jasmine
Dexter
Pete
It's been great fun getting to know all these monkeys, but for now, our focus is on Christmas and the joy of the season. What a wonder to think that God loved us so much that He sent His Son to be our Savior...what love!

From all of us here at the ranch...

We wish you a Merry Christmas!
