Penelope
is Pretty in Pink!

Say hello to Penelope, a Sock Monkey Ranch Raspberry Truffle sock monkey, who has been hand-dyed to pink perfection and is pretty as a picture in her pink dress and matching hairbow.

She has her pet kitty, Pierre tucked safely into his cute little pink and white striped carrier. He goes everywhere Penelope goes, even if he has to scrunch down and hide in places that don't allow pets.

Penelope's biggest dream is to some day take Pierre to visit Paris, France. Her little kitty bag even has pictures of the Eiffel Tower and French words all over it and she's been practicing her French, but all she's learned so far is...

J'ai faim!
(I'm hungry!)

and

Oł est la salle de bains?
(Where's the bathroom?)

She thought she should learn the most important things first!

If you are planning a trip to France and would like some company, or if you know how to speak French and can teach Penelope, or if you just like French Fries, then perhaps she's the gal for you. You can adopt Penelope at the Sock Monkey Ranch Etsy Shop by clicking this link: ADOPT PENELOPE, where you can pay her adoption fee via PayPal or Credit Card.

Schoolgirl Sock Monkey Madison
Madison
(She likes to be called Madi)

Madi is all dressed and ready for her first day of school. She's wearing her new school print skirt and blouse, she's carrying her tote bag that holds her tablet and two little pencils and she has an apple for the teacher.

Yes, Madison is excited about going to school, but she's a little concerned, too. Will her teacher be nice? Will the kids like her? What if she gets hungry, tired, has to go to the bathroom?

These are all things that put a worried expression on her cute little face. Perhaps you could take her in and reassure her that she will have lots of fun in school and that there's really nothing to worry about. If you understand "first day of school jitters" and can help Madi adjust, you can adopt her at the Sock Monkey Ranch Etsy Shop by clicking this link

Cowboy Dan Sock Monkey
Cowboy Dan

What can I say about Cowboy Dan. He's a young feller, who really tries hard to impress the old-timers on the ranch, but his cowboyin' skills just ain't what they should be. Heck, he ain't even hardly big enough to fill out his boots right.

In fact, his boots are so big on him that he keeps getting his lasso tangled around them when he tries to rope a calf. I can't imagine what would happen if he actually did manage to throw a loop around a little hiefer!

Still, Dan's a cute little guy and just needs some time to learn the cowboy way and he'll make a fine ranch hand.

If you have a ranch (real or imaginary) and the time to spend teaching Cowboy Dan how to ride and rope with the best of them, you can lay claim to Dan at the Sock Monkey Ranch Etsy Shop by clicking this link

Sock Monkey Annie
Annie

Our little Annie is as cute as a button in her Raggedy Ann dress.

She loves her new Raggedy Ann doll and takes her everywhere. They enjoy late afternoon tea parties on the veranda, playing dress up with mommy's clothes and whispering secrets after they've been tucked into bed.

You do have to keep an eye on them, however, because they also love adventure. Once they wandered off and were found hours later sharing bananas with the chimps at the city zoo.

If you would like to adopt Annie and her dolly, you can order her from the Sock Monkey Ranch Etsy Shop by clicking this link

Blue Sock Monkey Lizbeth

Lizbeth

Meet Lizbeth! She's a sassy little gal with an eye for fashion...at least she thinks so!

Lizbeth love to go shopping for fun and funky clothes that say, "HEY, LOOK AT ME!" She doesn't much care what other's think about her style, it suits her and that's all that matters.

Today, she's wearing her I'm stuck in the 60's look. Her bright pink sweater sports the mantra of the flower power days "Love". Her denim skirt was refashioned from a pair of freyed blue jeans. Lizbeth carries her favorite furry pink handbag and wears a flower in her "hair". (Don't tell her she doesn't have any hair!)

If you like shopping and hip, retro girls, then perhaps Lizbeth is the gal for you. You can order her from the Sock Monkey Ranch Etsy Shop by clicking this link

where you can pay her adoption fee via PayPal or Credit Card.

Butterscotch Sock Monkey Stumpy Ted

SPECIAL EDITION SOCK MONKEY RANCH MONKEY
Stumpy Ted

Stumpy Ted is a "rancher" from the land down under. Actually, Stumpy was born and raised in the American wild, wild west, but took off for Australia when he heard a wild story about kangaroo wrangling.

Old Stump is a good friend of Cletus Dean Baker (AKA Tumbleweed) from Sock Monkey Ranch. You can read about one of their exploits in Tumbleweed's Tall Tales.

Ted lives in a run down shack (which he calls his ranch) in the Australian outback. There's really not much there but the shack with a dunny behind the house that leans dangerously to one side.

Stumpy Ted is a special edition Sock Monkey Ranch Monkey. You can order him from the Sock Monkey Ranch Etsy Shop by clicking this link

where you can pay him adoption fee via PayPal or Credit Card.

To make other arrangements to adopt Stumpy Ted, just email the Grandma at grandma@sockmonkeyranch.com.

Sock Monkey Maverick

Maverick

Maverick is a fly boy! He dreams of joining the United States Air Force and flying an F-22A Raptor. Of course, he thinks that means he will be flying on the back of a dinosaur straight out of Jurassic Park. We just let him dream.

He's been practicing his salute around the Ranch. It really drives the cowboys crazy. He got into trouble the day he saluted the blacksmith when he was in the middle of shoeing a horse. The smithy automatically saluted back, but with the hammer in his hand...left quite a bump on his head!

Maverick is looking for a home with someone who has an patriotic spirit. Is that YOU?

If so, you can order him from the Sock Monkey Ranch Etsy Shop by clicking this link

where you can pay his adoption fee via PayPal or Credit Card.

To make other arrangements to adopt Maverick, just email the Grandma at grandma@sockmonkeyranch.com before Maverick takes off for the wild blue yonder.
