Sock Monkeys and Their People Here are some wonderful photos of sock monkeys and their people. Some are sock monkeys that were born at Sock Monkey Ranch and some are sock monkeys from elsewhere. RASCAL RAY AND THE DUKE Here's a letter we received with this picture: Hi Millie, Once Rascal Ray finally figured out i'm a "Sock" monkey and not a "Socked" monkey things couldn't be better. It's been a wonderful Christmas. i'm sooo fortunate to have such a fabulous, understanding, kind, generous and wonderful patron like Raskel Ray. I could go on and on endlessly but i don't like to gush or exaggerate. Suffice it to say I couldn't have it better, i am sooooo happy to have been assigned to Raskel Ray, now a note from the Man! Hi Millie, My, how The Duke does go on! The Duke is a great little pardner and I couldn't have a better one and I can't thank you and Lori enough. Although he is a bit loquacious he means well and is quite right about most things he says. (Humility prevents me from expounding further on that). I can just imagine the adventures they'll have together. Welcome to the world, Jackson! BAD BILLY BLART IS RECRUITING PIRATES IN THE BIG APPLE! Jill and Matt look happy with their new found friend, but beware... you'll be swabbing the deck aboard his ship before you know it! Juliet and Bailey hang out with their people, McKenna (on the left) and Kaitlyn (on the right) in Italy. McKenna and Kaitlyn live in Germany with their parents. Dad is in the military so these lucky girls get to travel to wonderful places. Of course, they take their Sock Monkey Ranch monkeys (Juliet and Baily) with them. Juliet's favorite sight was the statue of Juliet in Verona. While there she quoted the balcony scene from Romeo and Juliet - playing both parts! And she seemed to be on a constant look out for a Romeo of her very own. Bailey loved the Tower of Pisa. (Except she thought it was the Tower of Pizza and was just a little bit discouraged because she was very hungry.) Thanks so much for sharing these pictures with us, girls. It's always fun to get to know our monkeys' new people and hear about their adventures after leaving the ranch. Judy and Lucille Ball Judy is crazy about Lucille Ball, so Howard (Judy's husband)wanted to surprise Judy with a Lucille Ball sock Monkey for her birthday. I found this doll on the internet and used as a model. It's from the Vitameatavegamin episode of I Love Lucy, which is Judy's favorite episode. I included a bottle of Vitameatavegamin tonic and a copy of the script Lucy read in the episode. She was a blast to make! Claire (A Sock Monkey Ranch Raspberry Truffle sock monkey) is now best friends with Quinn and hangs out with her new sock monkey friends, Camo and Ballet in Ohio SARGE (SMR) AND HAPPY HAPPY SAM (SMR) WITH THEIR BOYS Ethan and David (my grandson's) with their sock monkeys, Sarge and Happy Happy Sam. MEGAN AND CINDY LOU (SMR) Lori writes - "Wanted to drop you a line and let you know that Megan adores her sock monkey! She has taken up residence in Megan's room and sneaks into her bed on many occasions." BRIE & SAMANTHA ANGELA & JESSIE CASSIDY & JILLY This delightful trio of sisters have adopted three Sock Monkey Ranch monkeys. Aren't they adorable? MELISSA AND OLLIE My grandma made this sock monkey for me when I was little. I must have played with him alot. Somewhere along the way he lost the little red pompom that was once on his hat. I call him Ollie because that was my grandma's middle name. MICAH & SUPER MONKEY/CLARK CHIMP This is Melissa's husband and his Super Sock Monkey, AKA Clark Chimp. They're a two sock monkey family! SOPHIA AND HANNAH BANANA (SMR) This is Hannah Banana helping little Sophia celebrate her first birthday in Texas. VINNIE AND GEORGE (SMR) Vinnie and George share a plate of spaghetti. George swings (mostly by his tail) with Vinnie in Ohio SOPHIA AND LILY (SMR) Sophia is teaching Lily to be a computer whiz!
